William Herring

I am a singer and guitarist from the UK, now based in Copenhagen. I moved here to study Masters in Music Creation at RMC, then afterwards I stayed to study on the artistic research programme. Now I am living and working and learning Danish in order to build my life here. After my bachelors in Birmingham in the UK, I performed regularly in and around Birmingham for gigs and events and have in the past performed at festivals including the Oxfam music festival, Birmingham International Jazz and Blues Festival, Cambridge folk festival, Whitby folk festival, and Moseley Folk Festival, as well as performing as a finalist in the Brit awards’ ‘Big Music Project’ competition at the o2 indigo venue at millennium dome. I absolutely love performing, and I take great care as a singer, choosing meaningful songs and performing them with sensitivity and care to deliver a personal and unique interpretation the music.
